After a Massachusetts court ruling on Uber's terms and conditions, we are re-sharing an NBC Boston segment called, "Are You Protected in a Scooter Crash? Experts Say Read the Fine Print." Attorney David W. White was among those interviewed back in 2019 on just how restrictive rideshare app agreements can be.
While one agreement printed up to more than 50 pages, Attorney White said riders should generally only expect up to $100 at the most if something went wrong.

Another study suggests SUV crashes are more likely to cause fatal pedestrian accidents than cars. This was a small study of 79 crashes and the findings will be used to encourage improvements in SUV design.
The short-term takeaway for ALL drivers is slower is safer for pedestrians.
