One of our employees at Brewers at 4001 Yancey informed us that they have tested positive for COVID-19. Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to close the taproom today. Our team has gone through the contact tracing protocols recommended by the CDC, and we are working with our staff to ensure that anyone that has come in contact with the employee gets tested for COVID-19. Any employee that, through contact tracing, is determined to need a test, must be medically cleared before returning to work. Due to the nature of the employee’s role at the taproom, and in accordance with CDC contact tracing guidelines, we do not feel like any customer would have been put at risk. Once we are sure that our staff is cleared and our facility goes through a thorough sanitization, we will reopen. Stay tuned for further updates.

Over the last two days since we announced our closure, we have been working through our protocols to clear staff members for work and thoroughly cleaning our facility because the safety of our staff and our guests is always our top priority. As of this morning, we have determined that enough staff members have been cleared through contact tracing and testing for us to be able to re-open our facility.
