Dr. Goodman specializes in vascular and interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology. He treats patients with liver, renal, and lung cancer, cirrhosis, portal hypertension, uterine fibroid disease, pelvic congestion syndrome, peripheral arterial disease, limb-threatening ischemia, benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH), varicocele, acute and chronic DVT, May-Thurner syndrome, inferior vena cava filter management, trauma, vascular malformations, visceral aneurysms, biliary obstructions, urinary tract obstructions; and those who need dialysis or venous access maintenance.
Dr. Goodman received his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten. He completed his surgical internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, New York and diagnostic radiology residency at Nassau University Medical Center in Nassau County, New York.
He is skilled in performing these procedures: radial artery access, tumor embolization, including TACE and Y-90, percutaneous tumor ablation, transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt creation (TIPS), balloon/plug-assisted retrograde transvenous obliteration of gastric varices (BRTO/PRTO), uterine artery embolization, peripheral and visceral angiography and intervention, prostate artery embolization, venous embolization, including varicocele and pelvic congestion syndrome (PCS), endovascular venous mechanical thrombectomy, venous reconstruction, and inferior vena cava filter placement and removal.
He is a certified diplomate of the American Board of Radiology. He was awarded the Alpha Omega Phi Medical School Honor and Service Society. He speaks English and basic Spanish.
