It was an amazing first night! We have about 10 couples that are here for their very first Couples Getaway. This is our 29th year at the The Shack Bed and Breakfast. Please continue to pray for the 36 couples that are here. We are beyond grateful to serve this weekend.

Bridge To Life is pleased to have Matt Sharpe join our counseling team. Because of the increased demand for counseling, Matt is a great resource to help counsel couples. Before working as a therapist, Matt began his career in ministry and served several churches in various pastoral roles. He earned a Master of Arts in Theological Studies with an emphasis in Pastoral Care from Trinity International University, in Deerfield, IL.
Recognizing both the strengths and limitations of pastoral ministry, Matt went on to earn a Master of Arts in Counseling from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. In addition to his work in counseling, Matt has also taught psychology at a local college and serves as a chaplain at area hospitals.
In the process of learning to trust God to meet our needs we restore our relationships that we have hurt. We learn to love well. We trust Him to meet our deepest needs. Then we are able to serve God by telling our stories of Redemption, Repentance, Confession, and Reconciliation. Our stories minister to the needs of others. If you would love to share your story on how BTL has helped your marriage we would love to hear about it. We also know that we have many challenges and hardships. Today, Becky and I celebrate our 47th anniversary together. We have had an great adventure together. God has blessed us with 6 wonderful children and their families. We thank God for the opportunity to serve in ministry together coming alongside marriages for 37 years. I thank God for Becky and her unselfish love toward me. She has taught me much about God's love for me. We have been through many challenges over the years which has taught us to know God more deeply and trust Him. Thank you, Becky, for walking with me for over 47 years.
