This week continue our sorting and matching skills using different types of materials.Today the children matched animals with the correct picture. When children sort objects into groups based on simple attributes such as color, shape, and size they are learning about their properties and building the foundation for future math and science learning
The children to compete and contrast items and to appreciate people’s differences. They learned it by participating in a scientific experiment and completing an activity sheet. They looked that the outside of and egg and the inside of an egg after it was cracked open. They learned that although an egg shell may be different colors on the outside that they are the same on the inside. They learned that although that people may have different skin color, we are all the same on the inside!
