During these unprecedented times we are still trying to figure out the proper protocol everywhere we go. We do understand it can be an inconvenience to you as far as our curbside protocol, but right now it is the safest way for us to stay open to take care of your furry loved ones. We may need you at a moments notice, which is why we ask that you please remain on premises in your vehicle during your pets appointment unless directed otherwise. We appreciate your patience and kindness during this time.

Update for our clients on our current operating procedures: We will be continuing with our Hybrid Curbside, even with the updated status of WNY. We understand that many want to come inside with their pets, but we need to keep our team healthy. We also realize that some people are receiving the Covid vaccine. Unfortunately, Veterinary is not a group on the lists as eligible, at this time. We realize the vaccine may be keeping those vaccinated safe from severe illness, but that is not protecting our team from exposure. We will continue to access the Covid numbers weekly and will update everyone, as to when we can safely allow clients to accompany their pets inside.
Hybrid Curbside Appointment Process: Once you arrive for your scheduled appointment, call the clinic (716) 833-9060 to check in with our reception team. *Our call volume is high, so please be patient.
Once checked in, one of our team members will call you to ask questions about the health of your pet.
We will ask you to meet us in the vestibule marked “Enter”. *Please be sure your pet’s harness or collar is properly fitted and secure, prior to getting out of your vehicle.
If a room is not immediately available, we will call you back once one is open. Once in the vestibule, an assistant will take your pet into our treatment area.
You will return to your vehicle in our parking lot and wait for a call from the doctor or zoom email from our team to join the appointment virtually. We will charge a fee of $20 for clients who leave the parking lot while we are caring for your pet. This fee is to discourage clients from leaving our lot while we are seeing your pet, as we may need to reach you while your pet is in our care for questions, emergencies etc…
After your pet’s appointment is over and you have spoken with the doctor, we will have you enter our lobby to cash out and an assistant will bring your pet back to you in our lobby.
Medication and food pick up: If you would like curbside pickup for medication and food, please call us to pre-pay. When arriving for pick up, call us and we will have your items ready. If you would like to enter the lobby for pick up, come in to the front desk to get items and to pay.
Surgery check in: Call us upon arrival for check in. We will be allowing two surgery intakes at a time in our lobby area. After the procedure, we will give you post-surgical directions and discharge information via a phone call from our team. Please give yourself ample time for this process, especially if you are on your way to work.
Euthanasia: We are allowing two family members to be present in the room for this difficult time. We cannot have any more than two based on the size of our room and social distancing. This is necessary for your safety and for that of our team’s safety. Many clinics are not allowing any family to be present, but we feel that it is important for our pet parents to be there, if they so choose. Please do not ask for exceptions.
Resort: Curbside protocol. Please call from parking lot upon arrival for further directions.
*Important Reminders* Download Zoom app on your phone prior to appointment, if you are interested in participating in the virtual visit. Technical difficulties can happen so we will communicate via phone, if you are unable to connect.
Phone lines will be extremely busy, so we ask your patience while calling for any reason.
Please be aware of social distancing once inside the lobby.
Masks MUST be worn correctly, covering both nose and mouth at all times while in our lobby.
Please park your car in a spot in the lot. We cannot have our entrances blocked with vehicles due to fire codes.
Wait times will be longer. Please plan on this when scheduling appointments.
Our team is trying our hardest to be as efficient as possible, but curbside does add time not accounted for in the appointment. Be kind to our team. We will not tolerate anyone being unkind for any reason.
Thank you!
This handsome rollie boy came in for an exam yesterday. Dozer is a Shar Pei, look at those rolls!!! Everyone had to come in to squeeze him!
