The Power of Personalized Music
Inter-generational Music & Memory Program,
Alive Inside, goes Virtual!
Help spread the music and give new life to someone you love! Millions of aging Americans face cognitive and physical difficulties that isolate them from everything familiar. The Music & Memory program helps people who struggle with a wide range of cognitive and physical challenges to find renewed meaning and connection in their lives through the gift of personalized music. This inter-generational evidence based program, is shown to directly benefit quality of life.
MUSIC & MEMORY®/Alive Inside program will be offered free of charge to participants who are struggling with cognitive impairment regardless of cause. This program is not available to persons living in long term care facilities. The program consists of two 45 minute online sessions; an initial ZOOM interview, then delivery of the programmed headsets and follow-up via ZOOM, both conducted by volunteer students. Registration is limited and will be provided on a first-come first served basis.
Initial Interview: Friday, November 20th at 2:30 PM
Playlist Reveal: Friday, December 4th at 2:30 PM
All interviews will be held virtually via Zoom!
Headset will be delivered by USPS or UPS
Open to residents of DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall,
Lake, McHenry and Will Counties
