It’s a new year and injured workers’ weekly compensation rate is increased.
Injured workers should receive 2/3rds of their average weekly earnings if they are injured on the job and cannot continue to work while they recover from their accident.
For injuries occurring on or after January 1, 2019:
-The maximum weekly rate is $494.48 and you may be entitled to more than $222,000 as a result of your work injury.
