We hope you have time to enjoy one of our favorite stories. This week FS1 got hooked onto their new Bears theme by enjoying an adventure “Going On A Bear Hunt” in Imagination Gardens. They had a splashing, squelching, stumbling, swirling, whirling time. Not only were they communicating by telling the story, but also developing in social emotional, physical and mathematical skills along the way. Their smiles speak for themselves.
Do you have a moment to fill your heart with warmth? Our first four weeks with the youngest children in our school have been filled with joy and many new experiences. The children are making great progress and we could not be prouder. #NAEBISC #NAEBeAmbitious

The proverb, "where there is a will, there’s a way” says it best! Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and as we reflect on all the things that we are thankful for, we would like to take this moment to thank our BISC community. We thank you for coming together and doing your part. We thank you for having the will, to finding a way. Today, our youngest class spent time investigating the inside of a pumpkin, checking out the flesh and the seeds and using language to describe their experiences. What better way to make use of the remainder of the pumpkin than to make a birdfeeder? We can't wait to see who comes to visit our playground! #BISCLT

It really added to the excitement of this week. #NAEBeAmbitious #bisclt

We are so proud of how well you handled learning from home. #BISCLT
There’s a curious commotion at the bottom of the ocean in FS1...
This week F2 have enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year. We have learned all about the year of the Ox for 2021 and the other animals from the Chinese Zodiac that represent our own year of birth. We made Chinese Dragon masks and the traditional red decorations, which we will hang in our doorways at home....why you ask? Well, we read the story of Chinese New Year and found out that, traditionally, red decorations are hung on doors to scare off the ‘Monster’ who awakens on this one day each year. We aren’t worried however as the masks we have made are enough to scare anyone away. Happy Chinese New Year From Foundation 2 #BISCLT

Lynne Danon is with Grace Danon. March 11 at 2:47 PM · So many emotions - excited, proud, emotional.....cannot believe my baby girl will be graduating. When they say it takes a village - this is Grace Danon's village. This school where she attended since the wee age of 3 has helped raise her, educate her and inspire her to go out into this world and make an impact. Though she hasn't decided where she will go to university, I am so excited that she was able to stay at this amazing school from start to finish. #BISCharlotte
