Dr. Ramin Hessamfar is a leading orthodontic doctor in the Washington DC Metropolitan area and serves patients from two locations, Ashburn and Woodbridge. At his practice, Broadlands Orthodontics, Dr. Hessamfar offers patients advanced treatments for alignment and crowding issues including metal braces, self-ligating braces, and aesthetic options which are less noticeable when worn.
Dr. Hessamfar obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland- College Park in 1992. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Dental Medicine in 1996. At the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic, Dr. Hessamfar completed an advanced dental residency where he worked with a variety of patients including those with craniofacial disorders. He has held a faculty position at the Lancaster clinic and began to practice private general dentistry. In 2001, Dr. Hessamfar completed a specialty program in orthodontics and received a Master’s of Science degree in Oral Biology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
At Broadlands Orthodontics, Dr. Hessamfar provides patients with state-of-the-art treatments designed to correct a variety of structural and alignment issues. He is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of orthodontic care and works to evaluate each patient’s precise needs in order to design unique treatment plans which can promise the best possible results.
When he is not practicing, Dr. Hessamfar spends time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys tennis, soccer, skiing, swimming, and camping.
