Dr. B & C received the COVID-19 Vaccination today at Long Beach Memorial, where they both are on the Cleft Palate Team. Both Dr's have learned to adapt during the pandemic and are feeling confident in serving the community now more than ever! Dr. B & C received the COVID-19 Vaccination today at Long Beach Memorial, where they both are on the Cleft Palate Team. Both Dr's have learned to adapt during the pandemic and are feeling confident in serving the community now more than ever! With any treatments, problems can arise! Here at Brodsky Orthodontics was here to help and provide any relief. In case you can't make it. Sometimes braces can cause some minor problems. Here are some in-home options to help.
1. Soreness-this is common. Relieve tender spots by dissolving a teaspoon of salt in eight ounces of warm water and rinsing vigorously.
2. Poking Wire-You can generally push a popped wire back into place with tweezers. If you can’t move it, use wax to reduce mouth irritation. Please make sure to tell us at your next appointment!
3. Loose band- A loose band will always require an appointment. Keep in mind, if it happens to come out please store it in a safe place to bring to your next appointment.
