Kim is our Territory Manager for the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She has a unique background of living in multiple countries and states that allows her to relate with a wide range of customers. Her Property Management background has also been an integral part of her success at Brook. Kim’s favorite part of working for Brook is helping people who may be going through a potentially stressful times and creating peace for them instead by easing their transitions. This summer, Kim and the Brook team had a chance to go above and beyond for her favorite MLB team by working with our Property Management partners to find them apartments, selecting furnishings and setting up their homes when baseball returned on short notice. She loves everything health & fitness related (especially the water/snow sports) and has two dogs (Thor-the Bully, & Angel-the Boxer). We thank Kim for her dedication to her customers.

Barnett, an activist and self-proclaimed “legacy maker,” is committed to bringing equity and inclusion to the design industry. After attending a panel discussion on the future of design that failed to feature a single Black voice, she founded the Black Artists + Designers Guild in November 2018. Its mission? “Investing in Black ancestral futures by taking ownership of our narrative, and creating spaces to celebrate Black creativity and culture through design.”
