What a beautiful day for a joy ride to our favorite duck pond, Jo Allyn Lowe. While looking at all the geese and ducks we did research and learned more facts about the park! Did you know that the park was created in 1980? The Price family donated the land in 1971 and 1979. Many different species of ducks and geese call this their home. How amazing!

We will be having our second vaccine clinic on February 12 from 11am-5pm for community residents and associates who are interested in receiving their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Getting vaccinated will help protect you, your friends, family and other members of your community. Learn more about our efforts around the COVID-19 vaccine here:

For Plan a Vacation Day, the residents did research on where they wanted to take a vacation. The two places they decided they wanted to visit was Alaska and Hawaii. Due to the pandemic the Resident Program Coordinator thought it would be fun to have a fun day full of activities and food that would represent Alaska and Hawaii. We will be visiting Alaska in February and Hawaii in March. Stay tuned for the month of February and March to see what fun things we do.
