A huge thank you to Nick from Bay City Central High School for coming out for Veterans Day! Nick stood outside and played The National Anthem, America the Beautiful, and taps. It was a beautiful addition to our Veterans Day ceremony. Residents were able to listen from indoors.
Yesterday we celebrated and thanked our veterans who reside in Brookdale Bay City! Veterans received a special catered lunch from Famous Dave’s and patriotic cupcakes prepared by our head chef, Brittney. They also received a certificate of honor, a card of appreciation, an American flag pin, and a beautiful handmade blanket.
From all of us at Brookdale, happy Veterans Day to those who have served to protect our freedom.
The CDC strongly recommends the COVID-19 vaccine and it’s so important that as many people as possible get vaccinated. We will be having our second vaccine clinic on 2-17-21 at 1pm for community residents and associates who are interested in receiving their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Getting vaccinated will help protect you, your friends, family and other members of your community. Learn more about our efforts around the COVID-19 vaccine here:
