Our swimming pool is officially reopened!
Today we learned the Cotton Eye Joe! Genni, one of our activity assistants, is also a certified Zumba instructor! She was able to slow down the music, so we could learn each move, it was so fun, we are ready for the rodeo!
Today we had a very exciting Market Day! We collected a wide variety of items, tie-dye masks to miniature jars of jam!

We're helping lead the way to find an Alzheimer's cure by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's on November 7th. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.

Happy Veterans Day to all who have served to protect our freedom! We have 21 amazing veterans who currently reside here at Brookdale Bayshore! We honored and celebrated them by having a special luncheon.
📌 Update: Tropical Storm ETA | November 11 📌
Our primary goal is to help ensure the ongoing safety of our residents. At this time, there are no calls for evacuations. The plan for our communities in the path of the storm to shelter in place.
We are monitoring the storm and have a detailed emergency preparedness plan in place to try and address all aspects of an emergency situation. Our coastal communities are equipped with water, food, onsite or ready-to-deploy generators, and supplies, including an adequate supply of face coverings, hand sanitizer and disinfectants to care for residents.
We are taking appropriate actions to keep them safe throughout the storm and following the guidance and direction of authorities when it comes to potential evacuations.

We have a weekly activity called “Projects with a Purpose” and one of our favorite things to do is to make tie blankets. When we get a large enough bulk we donate them to the @CrisisCenterofTampaBay!
