We have been through a lot this year. The pandemic has taken a toll on all of us, placing restrictions on our residents, families, and associates. There are those that may have struggled with feelings of fear, isolation, uncertainty, and grace. Through every step, our leaders, in a sense, demonstrated courage and commitment as we have adapted to the new environment, and must continue to look forward. In order to look forward, we must take a moment to reflect on what we have been through, what we have achieved, and what is yet to come. For that reason, our community at Brookdale Broken Arrow committed to taking a day and a moment of silence, to stand with, support, and connect with one another by holding a commemoration event. We wanted to take time to honor those during this pandemic. We are Brookdale united.

Are you looking for a safe place to take your kids trick or treating? Please stop by Brookdale Broken Arrow on October 27th at 6:30! We have created a safe way to distribute candy to the kiddos. We will have hot dogs, chips, and soda for the kids. We will be having a small petting zoo, a photographer taking pictures and a few different booths to stop at for treats! Face masks will be required, and we will have hand sanitation stations available. There will be no direct exchange of candy from hand to hand. See you then!

Our residents got to do a little deer hunting today! Some of our residents were avid hunters so they enjoyed some target practice.
