Due to inclement weather, we will be cancelling our Car Parade this Friday, July 17th at 2:00pm. However, we will be doing a ‘parade’ inside the community for the residents, hosted by staff members! We will have fun music, balloons, and goodies! If you were planning on coming to the parade, please feel free to drop off any signs! Thanks for your support!🎉

The CDC strongly recommends the COVID-19 vaccine and it’s so important that as many people as possible get vaccinated. We will be having our second vaccine clinic on February 16th from 11am-5pm for community residents and associates who are interested in receiving their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. How Brookdale Is Responding to Coronavirus | COVID-19
Since Groundhog Phil's 6 more weeks of winter prediction, we believe the birds will be very happy with these treats we made for them!
Lots of smiles this week as we began the process of reopening our communal dining. While still maintaining the safety of our residents, they can now fully enjoy the sounds, the smells, the conversation that comes along with dining with friends. We want to extend a special thanks to our Chef Fillie and her team who work diligently in providing the best meals and experiences for our community!
Keeping our bodies active and moving is so important. Brookdale's B-Fit exercise program is a live led class and is offered 7 days a week. We work on different areas of our body from strengthening and flexibility to cardio and breathing/relaxation. Brain Health is just as important as our physical health. Our signature Flex your Brain program helps us exercise those brain muscles. Ryan, one of our Resident Care Staff is playing a game of Hangman with our residents which challenges our thinking and word solving skills. They also learned Trivia Crack this week and had fun with the challenging questions. No matter your age you can still live a vibrant and full life!

Last week was our "Shot" to Shine as we received our first of two Covid-19 vaccine shots. Residents and staff came out to support the efforts in fighting this virus and have a little fun in the process!
