Grab life by the stein! Celebrate Oktoberfest during our drive-thru event. Escape to Bavaria as we embrace its signature festival with traditional flavors, sounds, and, of course, some great German beer! Drive-thru our community from 4-5 pm on October 23rd to pick up a delicious soft pretzel and beer. It’s an opportunity to celebrate das Leben like never before!

Our Eat Right for Life Event was a success! We traveled to Europe and learned about the Mediterranean diet. We are celebrating Activity Professionals week here at Brookdale Canton! Elysea is our resident programmer who has been with us for over 7 years. She has embraced the technology this past year and has kept our residents engaged through many challenges in 2020. She has been an essential point person keeping our families connected with their loved ones. We are very grateful for her dedication to her residents and our community. Thank you Elysea!
We would like to introduce our new Health and Wellness Director Elaine! She is a graduate of Tuslaw High School. She attended Massillon Community Hospital’s School of Nursing. Elaine started her nursing career working in the ICU at Massillon Community Hospital. She worked there for 11 years before becoming the Director of Nursing at Altercare Navarre, where she’s worked the past 30 years. Elaine and her husband reside in Navarre. She has two adult children, a daughter and son, and five grandchildren. Elaine is absolutely delighted to be a part of the Brookdale Canton team! Welcome, Elaine! 😊
