Designing 3D pumpkins. Decorated them with glitter. Residents wanted to know when glitter was invented. Glitter was created in 1934 in New Jersey when Harry Ruschman, an American machinist figure out a way to grind plastic into glitter.
Our Hocus Pocus Puffs was a delicious treat.
Recipe:
Marshmallow
Biscuits
Cinnamon
Sugar
Butter
Instructions:
Dip marshmallow in bowl of butter and then into bowl of sugar and cinnamon. You wrap two small or one large biscuit around marshmallow. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.

Dendrology Club residents discussed oak trees and acorns and shared with us the leaves and acorns they designed.
In Culinary Arts we discovered that the first apple pie originated from England in 1381. We reminisce about other popular fruit pies.
Our Travel Club traveled to Daintree and the Amazon Jungle. Did you know Daintree is the oldest jungle and the Amazon is the most popular jungle? We explored different animals that live in the jungles and then ended the day with George of the Jungle!
