While this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s events will be different, they continue to be deeply meaningful. They continue to help raise awareness about the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States. They continue to help raise funds that make a difference in the lives of those facing Alzheimer’s. Brookdale Senior Living Inc. continues to be one of the largest corporate supporters of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This year, thousands of Brookdale associates, residents, and patients are participating in or supporting virtual walks across the country.

As we recognized each of our veterans today, we were to not only able to thank each of them for their service, but we took pleasure in pinning each one and presenting each with a personalized plaque as a token of our appreciation.

When Bill and Louise began considering senior living options for Bill's sister, Pam, the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine became a major point of interest for their next steps. Now, after receiving the vaccine and transitioning to her new community, Pam is an official resident of Brookdale Cary.
