Our mobile Oktoberfest party on wheels was a smashing success! Staff and residents danced in the halls to streamed polka music with warm pretzels in hand!
Our B-Fit champion, and Resident Ambassador, Raymond, is going for an impressive record. His exercise streak is unbroken! He has attended 3 B-Fit classes a day for 27 weeks, racking up an impressive 12,150 minutes of exercise. He's even taken over leading one of the daily classes and encouraging his fellow residents to be involved.
"The King of B-Fit" is going strong while having a bonus workout session in his apartment!

How One Senior Is Helping Young Adults with Autism Find Jobs
Once again, the residents of Brookdale Fairhaven are teaming up with the Lighthouse Mission homeless shelter to collect desperately needed toiletries for our unhoused neighbors. Our residents and their handmade hats made the local newspaper recently!
We are collecting deodorant for both men and women, hand sanitizer, and wet wipes for the shelter. Our hat donation project was so fulfilling for our residents, they wanted to do more for the community! Our Toiletry Drive is happening throughout the fall and winter season. If you have items to contribute to our collection, please drop them off at the front door of our community. We will have a receptacle for the toiletries. We will post regular updates on our progress for the Mission. Thank you for your support!

Our amazing chef Kathy got her first COVID vaccine on her birthday! Happy birthday, indeed!
The CDC strongly recommends the COVID-19 vaccine and it’s so important that as many people as possible get vaccinated. We will be having our second vaccine clinic on Thursday, February 18th, from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. for community residents and associates who are interested in receiving their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
