Autumn arts with brightly colored paints and other accessories made for a popular creative activity this week!
Have some fun and guess the weight of this enormous pumpkin! This display can be found outside our community dining room, where residents can guess the weight for a requested donation of $1 - which will go to the Alzheimer's Foundation for the month of September.
Hole in one! Recently we held an indoor putting competition with some of our avid, and amateur golfers. Our gathering proved to be quite popular, with a full sign up sheet!
Brookdale Hoffman Estates residents took park in their very own Alzheimer's awareness walk, here at our community. Nearly 20 residents walked around our pond and helped with donations for a worthy cause!
Residents celebrated the running of the Kentucky Derby recently with Mint Juleps served at dinner!
Happy Birthday to our dear friend Martha, who turned 88 years old this week! A special sign was built overlooking our pond for everyone to see. Happy Birthday!
Congratulations to Judy for winning our recent pumpkin weight contest with a guess of 135! The actual weight came in at 135.5 lbs. Way to go Judy, and we hope you enjoy your gift basket!

When Bill and Louise began considering senior living options for Bill's sister, Pam, the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine became a major point of interest for their next steps. Now, after receiving the vaccine and transitioning to her new community, Pam is an official resident of Brookdale Cary.
