Residents loved the Wine and Cheese cart. During happy hour we went around the building, and they had the choice between various wines or sparkling juice with a sampling of cheeses, crackers, and grapes.

Our residents Myra and Bryce are celebrating 65 wonderful years together. Happy Anniversary!
Judy visited with Agatha & Felix for their 312th wedding anniversary, celebrating with a glass of wine. They have been on the Keto diet for a while but have switched to good healthy Jackson Oaks food to put some weight on those bones.

We are proud to be named #1 in Customer Satisfaction in Assisted Living/Memory Care in the J.D. Power 2020 U.S. Senior Living Satisfaction Study. This honor is a testament to the resilience and dedication of our teams. http://bkd.co/6189pDO2X
We celebrated Veterans Day with patriotic marches & music around the whole community. Our veterans & spouses received Certificates of Honor made for us by Aseracare as well as a flag pin and veteran certificates from us. We paused at each hall to sing along with the patriotic songs. We ended up with quite an entourage marching with us.
This gorgeous weather brought out many of our wonderful residents to enjoy “Cider and Photos” on the front porch, hosted by our marketing department. Who knew a nice warm cup of cider would bring so many smiles to our residents' faces.
Billy, Roberta & Vera display their Halloween game prizes.

Maxine turned 101 recently and other excited residents Lillie and Val also had birthdays.
The CDC strongly recommends the COVID-19 vaccine and it’s so important that as many people as possible get vaccinated. We will be having our second vaccine clinic on February 19 at 11:00am for community residents and associates who are interested in receiving their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Getting vaccinated will help protect you, your friends, family and other members of your community. Learn more about our efforts around the COVID-19 vaccine here:

We received our first vaccine during the COVID 19 vaccine clinic on Friday, January 22nd. Everything ran smoothly as 130 residents and associates received their vaccine. Afterward, the residents were treated to cupcakes, coffee, and popcorn. It was an exciting day for all.
Efforts towards COVID-19 prevention have become part of our daily lives, and we are so pleased to share that our Brookdale residents and associates are among the first group to have access to a COVID-19 vaccine. We are partnering with CVS Health through the federal government’s Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program and will be having our first vaccine clinic on January 22 at 11:00am for community residents and associates who are interested in receiving the vaccine. Together, we can take action to prevent COVID-19. #BrookdaleHope
