The crafting group made beautiful fall wreaths for their doors out of embroidery hoops. It is so fun to see how everyone pretty much had the same materials to work with, yet all the finished projects are so uniquely beautiful!
Some members of our community book club get ready to discuss September’s book, Educated, by Tara Westover. Join them at their next meeting on Oct. 10. They will be joining the Chicago Public Library’s program “One Book, One Chicago” and discussing Exit West by Mohsin Hamid. If residents would like to get a head start on November’s selection, they can find a copy of American Dirt and join the discussion on November 14. The book club hopes to see you at an upcoming meeting!
