The New York Department of Health (NY DOH) has issued visitor guidance for adult care facilities that meet specific benchmarks and are able to develop a plan for outdoor visits. A criteria of the NY DOH guidance is to share a copy of the visitor plan publically. Please refer to Brookdale’s Outdoor Visitor Policy Information for specific visitor guidance for the community once DOH criteria are met.

Residents had fun trying to guess who was on the board. The staff brought in a picture of when they were young with a caption attached. It was fun watching them try to figure out who they were. Our resident, Sharyn, was able to guess correctly!
We celebrated being fully vaccinated! Way to go Team Lakewood!! Thank You to Lori Korb for donating the beautiful cake. We had a Pinata, great music and a lot of laughs. There is ALWAYS something to be THANKFUL for.

Whether you're a novice gardener or a true plant guru, we think you'll love this free social event. The event is a pickup event on Thursday March 25th from 2:00 pm to 5:00pm at Brookdale Lakewood, 220 Southwestern Dr. Lakewood, NY 14750. Brookdale Lakewood would like to wish all our family and friends a Happy St. Patrick's Day.
It's been a long journey for our residents, staff, and families. It's a new way of life for us all. But this is a taste of hope for better days ahead, and the joy of reconnecting after such a long time apart.
