Each year we have a big ceremony to honor our veterans. This year it wasn’t big, but it was just as heartfelt. Brookdale Hospice provided a beautiful virtual ceremony for us to enjoy. Plaques, pins, and flags were handed out to each Veteran, and delicious cake afterwards to enjoy. We also handed out some armed forces masks that were donated by a former family member, Betty Platner. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this day extra special for our veterans!

A little Halloween fun! We had a reverse trick or treat for our residents. The staff had a parade around the building, and we handed candy out to our residents.

When Bill and Louise began considering senior living options for Bill's sister, Pam, the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine became a major point of interest for their next steps. Now, after receiving the vaccine and transitioning to her new community, Pam is an official resident of Brookdale Cary.
What a fun afternoon! Bernadette got to enjoy a private virtual concert of her favorite singer Adam Lambert! Bernadette has went to many of his concerts in the past and enjoyed this one just as much!
