Clare Bridge residents took advantage of the weather this summer with Tuesday Happy Hours on the back deck. Everyone enjoyed the fresh air, delicious food, and good company.
During our monthly Wine & Watercolor event, we decided on falling autumn leaves design. The design was stamped and embossed with embossing powder. Then Brusho Watercolor Pigment Sprinkles were used for creating the color. Keith and Elsie sprinkled different colors to create the fall colors and then a squirt bottle was used to activate the watercolor pigment sprinkles. And the colors just came alive. After the paper was dry, Keith and Elsie signed their creation and it was framed. A fun and easy way to create a beautiful painting.
Brookdale Montclair Poulsbo is hosting a Drive-Thru Trick or Treating for safe Halloween fun. Drive through our parking lot on October 28th, 2020. Our event is from 3:30-4:30 PM. We will be handing out treat baggies of candy that our residents helped put together. Please stop by at 1250 NE Lincoln Rd, Poulsbo, WA.

Robin Erickson is our Everyday Hero for the month of October 2020. Robin joined our team two years ago and her main position is a concierge at our front desk. She has also helped with Sales and Marketing for the last two months until the position was recently filled. Robin is dedicated and enthusiastic about working for our residents.
This week our Resident Program Manager, Liz, made a Mediterranean salad at a food demonstration. Using fresh ingredients of tomatoes, English cucumbers, sweet onion, and feta cheese, Liz tossed the salad using some of our Brookdale signature seasoning and spices in the homemade dressing of lemon and olive oil. Our residents loved having a bowl after the demonstration was completed.
Efforts towards COVID-19 prevention have become part of our daily lives, and we are so pleased to share that our Brookdale residents and associates are among the first group to have access to a COVID-19 vaccine. We are partnering with CVS Health through the federal government’s Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program and will be having our first vaccine clinic on January 29, 2021, starting at 11:00 am for community residents and associates who are interested in receiving the vaccine. Together, we can take action to prevent COVID-19. #BrookdaleHope

Benefits of Getting the COVID-19 Vaccine
Brookdale Montclair Poulsbo celebrated bringing in the New Year via London Time (4:00 PM). We cheered with our eggnog, sparkling cider, noise makers and confetti poppers! Brownie bites were served along with chocolate Kisses! After the party our residents enjoyed prime rib or turkey for the New Year Eve dinner. A fun time for all who come to the party.
