Our Brookdale LPN testimony as to why she chose to get the vaccine:
" Honestly, if you asked me back in July if I was going to get the vaccine right away I would've said no. I actually did say no a few times while talking to family and friends. I wanted to wait it out to see if anything would change, but believe and trust in science. Knowledge is power, do the research. It's amazing that we have made a vaccine possible. And honestly, I'm exhausted, my other healthcare friends are exhausted. I have been doing my part to keep everyone as safe as possible. My family and I, just want our lives back. My kids miss their friends and going to school, I miss my friends, I miss my family. There is hope that we can end this pandemic."
Our first round of vaccines was given to our employees and residents yesterday! How lucky and blessed we are to have this opportunity.
