It's that time again...HALLOWEEN! It's time to start getting those costumes together for our Annual Halloween Party. The party this year will be held on Friday, October 30 at 2:30pm. Due to COVID, the party this year may be different, but the fun festivities will still be the same. There will be lots of spooky treats and musical entertainment. So mark your calendars for Friday, October 30, for our 2020 Halloween Party.
All of September birthdays were celebrated yesterday with cake and music.

During "My Life Story", Jean was able to share her story and talents with residents. Jean is one of the most creative residents, here at Brookdale. She had some of her handmade dolls and Christmas trees on display for residents to view. Ms. Jean is currently working on making over 100 handmade Christmas trees for an organization.
Happy Veterans Day to all of those who have served. We honored our very own Brookdale veterans with a catered breakfast from Cracker Barrel. A Wall of Honor has been put in place for all veterans. This wall displays each Brookdale veteran, in their uniform. We also want to thank Lisa with Sacred Journey Hospice for all of her generosity and kindness today. 😍 🇺🇸 ❤️
Happy Monday! It's Mexican Train Dominoes Day. Marg enjoyed playing a game of Mexican Train Dominoes. Mexican Train Dominoes is played every Monday at 11:00am.
It's National Donuts Day! Residents were in for a special treat today, during lunch.

The CDC strongly recommends the COVID-19 vaccine and it’s so important that as many people as possible get vaccinated. We will be having our second vaccine clinic on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, from 11 am — 5 pm, for community residents and associates who are interested in receiving their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Happy MLK Day. MLK Day is observed on the 3rd Monday in January as “a day on and not a day off” MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. This year Brookdale of Newnan decided to partner with One Roof Food Pantry and collect can goods. Due to Covid, so many families are without a job and food. So for one month, Brookdale held a Can-A-Thon to collect cans for One Roof. Brookdale residents collected over 100 cans. The volunteers of One Roof were very appreciative of the donated cans.
Today is the day. Covid-19 vaccine day. 💉 Residents were ready to get their vaccines today to help stop the spread of Covid. Brookdale of Newnan has done their part.
