Mr. Leonard loves license plates. Before moving to Brookdale he had a collection of 12,000 plates from all the states in the US. Since 1994, Leonard has been metal crafting license plates into large and small Texas shapes, birdhouses, and feeders. His newest creation is a handled basket. Over the years he has sold his work all over the state. His warm smile and daily jokes have endeared him to all of us here.
