While this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s events will be different, they continue to be deeply meaningful. They continue to help raise awareness about the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States. They continue to help raise funds that make a difference in the lives of those facing Alzheimer’s. Brookdale Senior Living Inc. continues to be one of the largest corporate supporters of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. When Bill and Louise began considering senior living options for Bill's sister, Pam, the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine became a major point of interest for their next steps. Now, after receiving the vaccine and transitioning to her new community, Pam is an official resident of Brookdale Cary.

Here at Brookdale Novi, we acknowledge the anniversaries of our residents' move-in dates, by going to their apartment doors with champagne, cake, and flowers to highlight the day. At that time the resident is invited to partake in their own private luncheon or dinner along with two of their friends, which we would love to become part of our community, and become a Friend For Life! Hosted by our wonderful culinary department, a special menu is prepared, and the delightful cuisine is served with elegance for a memorable meal. Our way of showing how we celebrate YOU!
The CDC strongly recommends the COVID-19 vaccine and it’s so important that as many people as possible get vaccinated. We will be having our second vaccine clinic on Tuesday, February 16th from 11:00am to 5:00pm for community residents and associates who are interested in receiving their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
