They continue to help raise awareness about the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States. They continue to help raise funds that make a difference in the lives of those facing Alzheimer’s. Every Friday this month we are wearing pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This is Grace, she works very hard and diligently in our dietary department and we are honored to be able to celebrate with one of our very own breast cancer survivors.

It’s fabric, it’s toilet paper, it’s a cinnamon stick. NO, IT’S A PUMPKIN! We had a blast taking simple things and turning them into adorable pumpkins.
Our residents look forward to passing out candy and seeing the children dressed up every year but this year will look very due to Covid so the staff dressed up and passed out candy to our residents in a “All Treats No Tricks Parade.” Laughter, singing, and dancing filled our community as the staff poured out their love for the residents. #BrookdaleStrong
