We ROCKED the Walk to End Alzheimer’s this weekend! We embraced the virtual walk this year by making signs and crazy purple headgear and hit the streets near the community to raise money for Alzheimer’s research. At the end of the day, the residents’ hard work paid off, and we were able to make a monetary donation to the Alzheimer’s Association thanks to those who cared enough to stop and donate.
Herman has recently made a connection with the dolls at our parenting life station. I spoke with Herman’s daughter, Liz, who said this is a new side of her dad; one that she has never seen before to this degree. We felt so lucky to have witnessed this tender moment.
