We are excited to announce that we can now allow outdoor visits! These visits do have to be scheduled and will be held on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Saturday was National Cake Decorating Day! Our very own Chef Amy led a cake decorating class for the residents. She taught them how to make flowers using icing, and different techniques for bordering a cake. Once it was decorated everyone got to enjoy the cake!

Today our residents enjoyed Halloween treats and made fall luminaries during craft time. Brookdale Palestine wishes everyone a happy Halloween!!
The residents were excited to have Tony and Pals back out to sing to them from the front porch. We still are unable to have entertainers inside, but thanks to speakers and our big windows they still get to enjoy it! Thanks Tony and Pals we can’t wait to see y’all again.
Today we had our second vaccine clinic for COVID-19 here at Brookdale Palestine. We are proud to say most of our residents and staff have now been fully vaccinated! The pandemic has hit us each in different ways, but we are Brookdale strong 💪 and fighting back!
The CDC strongly recommends the COVID-19 vaccine and it’s so important that as many people as possible get vaccinated. We will be having our second vaccine clinic on February 2, 2020 at 10:00 AM for community residents and associates who are interested in receiving their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
