Williamson’s Chapel United Methodist Church surprised our residents and staff with treasured gifts. Residents loved the beautiful hand-crocheted prayer shawls and lovely window sun catchers painted by the children of the church. Our staff was delighted with the prized collection of snacks and the note expressing thanks to our heroes. Thank you, Williamson’s Chapel, for your encouraging gifts, thoughts, and prayers.
Yesterday we celebrated our Friends for Life Autumn Trivia & Pumpkin Pick Up.
Every autumn porch needs a pumpkin or two…
If you answered the trivia questions…
We had one for you!!!
Today is National Coffee Day. We savored hazelnut coffee for a morning snack and Tiramisu coffee cake for dessert at lunch. Extreme energy!
While this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s events will be different, they continue to be deeply meaningful. They continue to help raise awareness about the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States. They continue to help raise funds that make a difference in the lives of those facing Alzheimer’s. Brookdale Senior Living Inc. continues to be one of the largest corporate supporters of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This year, thousands of Brookdale associates, residents, and patients are participating in or supporting virtual walks across the country.

We are pleased to welcome Tracey McCord to our Clare Bridge Family, as our new Health & Wellness Director. Tracey was formally the Clinical Coordinator at Brookdale Peachtree Assisted Living prior to her promotion to Health & Wellness Director in our community.
Tracey has been an LPN for ten years and has extensive Alzheimer's and Dementia experience. Before joining our Peachtree team, Tracey was the Health & Wellness Coordinator at Brookdale Concord and also a Resident Care Coordinator at Brookdale in Texas, so she is not “new” to Brookdale, just new to our community.
In her free time, Tracey enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, Chaos. She also enjoys traveling, kayaking, camping, and boating. Tracey has two sons that are both active duty military, along with a granddaughter and a grandson due to arrive in July 2021.
Help us welcome Tracey to our wonderful Clare Bridge team!
