While this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s events will be different, they continue to be deeply meaningful. They continue to help raise awareness about the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States. They continue to help raise funds that make a difference in the lives of those facing Alzheimer’s. Brookdale Senior Living Inc. continues to be one of the largest corporate supporters of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This year, thousands of Brookdale associates, residents, and patients are participating in or supporting virtual walks across the country.

We ended our National Assisted Living Week with a bang! We had Tony's ice cream sundaes with all the favorite toppings, lots of laughs, and great music! Thank you to all of our incredible associates and residents that make Brookdale Robinwood the great place it is! We are all so blessed!

We spent almost the entire day celebrating our veterans today with a really nice lunch with steak, shrimp, salad and loaded baked potatoes followed up with their favorite wine or beverage and you can't forget the cheesecake. We all shared stories and the history that is Veterans Day. Later in the day veterans came back and received a certificate and other residents had the opportunity to thank them for their service. What a great day! Happy Veteran's Day friends!

Today our marketing and dining services team collaborated with a local Parrish nurse and we were able to provide soup and cornbread to some of the home bound seniors in our area! We are so excited to be able to provide a warm meal to someone in need! Happy Souper Bowl weekend! 🥣 🏈 ❤️
As part of our kindness is ageless campaign, residents gathered and wrote sentimental notes that filled birthday cards that will be given to a local Brookdale community resident that is turning 100! You could see the excitement on their faces knowing their acts of kindness will be well received. A little kindness goes a long way!

Can you believe it’s February already?! We have some great engagement opportunities this month, one of which is our Ageless Spirit Campaign! Residents and staff were given a calendar to prompt a random act of kindness daily for the month. This is too good to keep in the house!
