Guess what day it is — Alzheimer's Walk day at Rock Springs! Things may have looked a little different this year with us having to have a walk at our campus and not gathering with other campuses to support this cause, but we still had a great time! We asked one of our residents who is suffering from this awful disease to lead us down the hall on a socially distanced walk. It was an emotional walk that all of us enjoyed. We pray for the day that we are able to say there has been a cure and that they have their first survivor of Alzheimer's. Until then, we will continue walking each year, raising money and awareness for this disease!

Reading has always been an important part of Marjory's life. Print got a little hard to read, so we helped her order a brand new kindle for herself that she can make the font as big as she wants! She was so happy to have her favorite hobby as a possibility again!
Today was a very hopeful day at Brookdale Rock Springs! CVS Pharmacy came and administered our first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine! These are some of our rock star heroes who received their vaccine today! We are looking forward to February when we receive our second dose!
