As part of her silver award project, Kira Fuerst representing Girl Scouts and the Great Lakes Bay Veterans Coalition helped to coordinate and deliver some lap blankets. Brookdale Saginaw presented these to the veterans on Veteran's Day, along with poppy pins, during the Veteran's Day service.

Happy Activities Professional Week! Brookdale Saginaw would like to thank Rachel for being a part of the Resident Programs Team. Rachel was born in Indiana and came to the Saginaw area to attend Saginaw Valley State University. There she earned her Bachelor's in Sociology. Rachel enjoys reading books that are then adapted into movies and then watching those movies. She enjoys writing poetry, as well. Rachel came to Brookdale Saginaw as a volunteer and transitioned into resident programs assistant. She likes working with the residents doing programs that are mutually enjoyable. She appreciates that she can also show care and love in her position. Thanks for all you do, Rachel!
