Residents were inspired this week with the Acrylic on Canvas lesson in our Activity Room. These small group mixed media virtual art classes are offered every week in partnership with the Creative Aging Network of North Carolina.

The CDC strongly recommends the COVID-19 vaccine and it’s so important that as many people as possible get vaccinated. We will be having our second vaccine clinic on February 4th from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm for community residents and associates who are interested in receiving their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Getting vaccinated will help protect you, your friends, family and other members of your community. Our patio wildlife tree continues to flourish. Residents and staff work together to keep our squirrel and bird friends content during the winter months with the stringing of cranberries and Cheerios and fashioning pine cones into birdseed feeders.
One of our dining room servers, Mercedes, has gotten her COVID-19 vaccine. She did it to protect everyone around her!
