We had a fantastic Halloween Costume contest with our staff! Our residents truly enjoyed seeing our giraffes, identity thieves, clowns, and even the Cat in the Hat!
Our AL group had a wonderful discussion about Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). We learned how this Mexican festival celebrates those who have passed with food, sweets, music, and festive colors. To finish, the residents made Marigolds out of fabric to put on their "ofrendas"!

One of our dining room servers, Mercedes, has gotten her COVID-19 vaccine. She did it to protect everyone around her!
Our residents love to try new things. Today, Bob is trying martial arts, starting with stances and blocks! He is the epitome of the phrase "You are never too old to learn something new". Keep on kicking Bob!
