Efforts towards COVID-19 prevention have become part of our daily lives, and we are so pleased to share that our Brookdale residents and associates are among the first group to have access to a COVID-19 vaccine. We are partnering with CVS Health through the federal government’s Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program and will be having our first vaccine clinic on Wednesday, February 10th at 10am to 4:00pm for community residents and associates who are interested in receiving the vaccine. Together, we can take action to prevent COVID-19. #BrookdaleHope

Benefits of Getting the COVID-19 Vaccine
Brookdale at Home has arrived in our community! Formerly known as Personalized Living, the department has had a name change. To celebrate this, yesterday we held a grand opening ceremony equipped with a ribbon-cutting, gift deliveries for each resident, and a performance by the one and only Brookdale at Home Manager, Teresa. The Brookdale at Home team put together two hundred 'hugs in a box' for each resident.
Teresa opened the ceremony with these words:
"We are giving you a little hug, to let you know that you are loved, to make you smile when you feel blue, to let you know that we miss you, so until we are no longer 6 feet apart, hold these little hugs close to your heart."
Our marketing department has been working hard to provide virtual education sessions on dementia. Martha is pictured here with the 'Lived Experience Dementia' presentation. If someone you love has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's or dementia, these sessions are designed to answer your questions. This educational series discusses the ins and outs of life with a dementia diagnosis, as well as introducing you to our recently expanded memory care offerings, the Clare Bridge Crossings and Clare Bridge programs.
