My family and I, who I cherish deeply, live in a cool little beach town called Hermosa Beach in Southern California. It is this very beach where I met my husband, and where we started our lives together. With the support and encouragement from my loving family, I have been able to make my dreams come true, creating a fashion accessory no one can resist for their tiny tikes. Here is how it got its start.
My husband and I were always big on the whole beach lifestyle, spending every chance we could get either at the beach or somewhere near the sand. When we welcomed our son in April of this year, I knew we would have to provide him with some kind of sun protection for whenever we hit the beach.
I did not feel like I had many options no matter where I searched, especially for his age. I figured that I couldn’t be the only one struggling with finding children's sun protection that was cute and practical; thus, the idea hit me - Bubba’s Truckers had its foundation. The name came from my son’s nickname, Bubba, and it only seemed fitting to brand it after him. Our designs and styles are unique and encompass the laid back, beachy feel we love so much. Fashionable, stylish, and practical; our hats are made with love, for the ones you love. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!"
