Looking back to earlier in the week, it was a gorgeous Monday to play golf at the Golf Club at South River for some of our BGC | G&G team. This tournament was in support of The Arc of the Central Chesapeake Region. The Arc did a stellar job orchestrating the event so that all safety precautions were in place and all players could enjoy their time on the course. With assistance from friends, family and business partners, we are happy to say we achieved our annual goal for this fundraiser. Thank you to everyone who showed their support this year. We can’t express enough how much this organization means to our BuilderGuru family.

We spent a beautiful morning at St. John’s College recently taking photos of our latest project. It’s often you see BGC | G&G do a complete restaurant fit out or a ground up project, but that’s not all we can do! The scope of many of our jobs include interior renovations, which is what took place at St. John’s college over the summer, specifically in the McDowell building. Architectural firm, the Kezlo Group, designed a face lift for the lower level coffee/lounge area. BuilderGuru assisted with new flooring, lighting and furniture installation. The space felt like a basement before with darker floors and minimal lighting. The transformation into a brighter cafe area will attract more students to eat, study and relax in peace. BGC | G&G has stepped in to assist St. John’s College with other projects in the past, and we look forward to extending our relationship into the future.

Dangerously Delicious Pies will open it’s doors to the public this month and we are proud to have been chosen as general contractor for the restaurant fit-out. DEADLINE TODAY! The Arc is partnering with Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman to offer a COVID-19 Family In-Home Support program for families with children with disabilities. This program will provide short-term, in-home supports to children (ages 0-21) with disabilities living in Anne Arundel County.
Families are eligible to receive up to $500 for the in-home supports grant, and up to $350 for the learning aids. Applications must be submitted by today, 12/29/20.
