Bussell & Sons, LLC is a full service drilling and construction firm located in Tomball, Texas. We have been in continuous operation in the Houston and surrounding areas for over fifty eight years. Our experience includes thousands of production wells for municipal supply, industrial, irrigation and domestic use. We currently operate two drilling rigs with a third one being built now and three service rigs from our yard along with our utility construction operations. We provide turnkey water system design/build services to the customer. From engineering, consulting, and permitting, to drilling and construction of the complete water system; we have the capability to provide wells in a wide range of capacities through 1000+ gallons per minute. We provide a fully stocked and manned service department for maintenance and well work. We are the only construction/drilling contractor presently providing, a “lease” purchase-financing plan to the developer. This ability provides additional resources to the owner for development and funding.
Bussell and Sons’ Vice President of construction is Ken Gassiot. He has been with our company for 34 years. Our construction unit of Bussell and Sons consists of high end relationships with engineers, land developers, large construction, home builders, etc. Ken has traveled as far as Brownsville and all the way to Tennessee to do our construction. Ken works with our suppliers and subcontractors for quality material and pricing for our customers. We take our construction unit very seriously and Ken is highly respected in the industry.
Our Vice President of drilling is Craig Bussell. Craig is the oldest son of the President Tommy Bussell. Craig has worked in the industry for 35 years. We have a very stable drilling unit. Bussell and Sons uses mud rotary drilling. Both of our drilling rigs can drill from one hundred feet to about one thousand feet. Our usual well sizes go from four inches to sixteen inches. The normal drilling period for a residential well is from 1 ½ to 2 days. Bussell and Sons uses the finest materials such as stainless steel screens and SS pump units. Bussell and Sons does drilling for domestic, commercial, industrial, irrigation, dewatering, and municipal utility districts.
Troy Bussell is our Vice President of the service department. Troy is the youngest son of President Tommy Bussell. Troy has been with the firm for 28 years. Our service department is responsible for completing the installations of the pumps and tanks on any new well and also troubleshooting and repairing our customers systems from residential through municipal utility districts. Bussell and Sons maintains two smaller Pulstar P10HD3L series pump rigs and one larger Pulstar P38000 pump rig to handle all your pump pulling needs.
