Please Help! I found this picture outside of Costco. On the back it reads, “Mom and Dad, 1955”. I would love to return it to its owner. It looks like an old and precious photo. Maybe if we all share it, we can find the owner. ❤️

Today is the 36th anniversary of the release of FIRESTARTER, the movie that lit the spark of filmmaking in the Cape Fear (yes, pun intended). Last year, we did a massive episode of the podcast on the history of FIRESTARTER's production and legacy for its 35th anniversary with producer Martha De Laurentiis, as well as a big feature story, a video of filming locations and a photo gallery. That multi-part coverage, born from this Cape Fear Unearthed episode, earned the podcast 1st place in multi-media projects (in the StarNews' division) at this year's North Carolina Press Association awards! I'm really proud of the work we did on this episode and today is the perfect day to listen if you haven't already – or revisit it for fun!
