✨FEATURE FRIDAY✨It’s Child Passenger Safety Week! Who’s preparing to welcome a new baby? Follow these steps on how-to install the MESA Infant Car Seat for your little one!
1. Place the MESA base onto your car’s seat with the adjustment foot toward the vehicle seat back.
2. Press the gray level adjust button on the top of the base to extend the foot and change the recline angle.
3. Check the angle indicator window level on the side of the base and make sure it changes from 🔴 to 🟢.
4. Press the orange button to release the LATCH system.
5. Attach the lower anchor connectors to the vehicle lower anchors located in the vehicle seat bight; repeat on the right side
6. Push down to apply pressure firmly into the base allowing all the excess lower anchor connector webbing to retract and tighten.
7. Ensure the base doesn’t move more than 1 inch side to side at the belt path by rocking the base back and forth.
8. Ensure tightness indicator is green after each use.
9. Place carrier on base until an audible click is heard.
Please note: The carrier handle can be in any of the three locked positions for use in the vehicle in the United States. In Canada, the carrier handle must be moved to the most forward position in the vehicle.
