Thank you for working with us during the COVID-19 crisis. We appreciate your support. Please be patient with us while we work on accommodating requests for pet visits as well as for surgery and dentistry appointments. We are experiencing a very high demand for our services and are working to help as many pets as we can without affecting our quality of care. Unfortunately, we have had to make the difficult decision to temporarily stop accepting new clients. Thank you for your understanding in these trying times. Fay Rae wants you to remember to wear a mask when you come for your appointments so that we can provide you with face to face interactions! Thank you again.
THIS LITTLE GIRL FOUND A HOME!! Thank you for all the interest and shares! This little girl needs a forever home, she's a former forgotten barn cat. She's very sweet, and very much enjoys attention. We are estimating her age at 1 year, she's had her first vaccines, she's parasite free, and was recently spayed. She's petit, only weighing 6 pounds. We ask that she go to a indoor only home. Please feel free to share❤
Well look who showed up at Button Veterinary Hospital today!! We've deemed him Mr. Olive! Mr. Olive is looking for a forever home, he likes long walks in the yard or pasture. He enjoys waking up with the sun, and checking in throughout the day with his throaty crowing. He's a typical rooster in that he is protective and can get a bit cranky, but with a firm experienced hand he's fine. If you can provide Mr. Olive a home or know of someone who can, please call the hospital at 253-383-5531. Also please feel free to share.
Update: Kitten has found a home!! It's time for this little girl to find a home, she had a rough start, she's tough though! She fought off a rotten upper respiratory infection, eye infection, flea anemia, dehydration and starvation. Nothing can keep her down now! She's 2 lbs of hell fire and ready for a new home. She will need to go to an indoor only home.
UPDATE: We are booking out 3 - 4 weeks for healthy pet visits due to a high volume of appointments, mostly due to having had to restrict services at the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis. Please be patient with us as we try to accommodate the demand we have for appointments and anesthetic procedures. We are working diligently to be able to help you and your pets. In other news, we are still doing curbside service for the immediate future and will be closed on Saturdays until further notice. We want to continue to provide quality service and hope to do so by focusing our full efforts on our weekday appointments. Thank you for your understanding as we work with you to provide care for your animal family members.
Hello everyone! We wanted to update you on how things are working at Button Vet. We have some exciting news: We are reopening appointments on Saturdays from 9am - 1pm starting this Saturday, May 23rd. We will begin phasing in wellness/vaccine visits starting May 26th. Please expect to wait 2 - 3 weeks to be seen for routine visits as we do have a backlog of client requests to get through. We are working to get you scheduled in a timely manner. Grooming services such as nail trims and anal glands will return soon, once we receive the ok to move into Phase 2 of the state reopening plan where grooming is allowed again. We are asking that ALL clients wear a mask in their vehicle in order to protect our staff, just as we are wearing masks to protect you. We appreciate your cooperation. We will continue curbside service until further notice, so we ask that you call us on your arrival and we will begin the check-in process. Our staff will come to get your pet. For dogs we ask that all leashes, collars and harnesses be taken off and for cats, they MUST be in a carrier. We will either speak to you at a distance of 6 feet from your car, or call you on the phone once we have examined your pet and come up with a plan. We thank you in advance for your continued support in this difficult time. Please call us with any questions, we are here for you and your pets!
