Every year for the last 22 years Buzz Cafe has hosted “Khanike Night” with the Mameloshn singers from Oak Park Temple. This year, of course, we cannot do it, but you can click the link below to enjoy the songs and music from the group. The recording of Khanike music has lyrics to all the songs including the candle blessings. It's a half hour presentation. Although much of the music is in Yiddish, some are in English, and Maoz Tsur and Mi'Yimaleil are in Hebrew.
Hopefully, next year they will be back at Buzz!
