Can you see me?
I am the tow truck operator on the side of the road with my lights going while I load someone’s car.
I am the one who shows up to help you unlock your car.
I am the one who jump starts your vehicle.
I the one who takes the call day or night while my family waits and worries.
Can you hear my family?
They are the ones who silently pray every time I go to a call.
They are the ones who scream, cry, beg, & plead when someone hits and kills me.
They are the ones who silently wonder why while breaking inside at my funeral.
Can you see the flashing lights?
The lights that are Red, Blue, Amber lighting up the skies while we work.
The lights that alert you to our presence.
The lights that are there to help us do our jobs.
Can you read?
Read these words and know that one simple action can save our lives.
Read and teach these words to your kids so they can learn to follow them.
Read the obituaries that our families have to endure when you do not follow the law.
Understand these words. They aren’t just something for you to see on FB, signs, posters, bumper stickers.
These are words that save lives so do your part!
SLOW DOWN AND MOVE OVER WHEN YOU SEE THE FLASHING LIGHTS.

Today is a day of reflection, of remembrance of all those we lost on September 11, 2001. We ask you to remember the bravery of the ordinary citizens, police officers and firefighters. The men and women who answered the call of our nation’s military to then take the fight to those who were responsible. Let us never forget, let us never take for granted the freedom and liberty we all enjoy. The effects of that day, even 19 years later, are still fresh. We continue to lose first responders to cancer attributed to months of work at Ground Zero. Regardless of all that's going on in the world today, please take a moment to remember all those affected, but especially the fallen. We promise that we will always hold dear those lives that were lost, that were forever changed. We WILL NEVER forget. #september11th #rememberthefallen
Small town companies coming together to help the community we grew up in. We were able to help 200 local children with filled backpacks. Big thanks to Altman’s AC for starting this drive.

National Move Over Day is October 17. ADD is giving away 50 Slow Down Move Over reflective hats to those who help us raise awareness for #MoveOver laws and remind drivers to protect first responders working on the side of the road. Share this post for an entry to win, and like our Facebook page for two extra entries!
Move Over laws require drivers to move into another lane, or if they are unable to do so safely, to slow down when they see stopped emergency vehicles alongside the road. More states are adopting these laws, but a recent national poll shows that 71% of Americans have never heard of Move Over laws. Help us spread the word. Slow down. Move Over.
When a grandchild comes to visit and wants to ride. Thanks David Pinner for giving Travis a ride on your new 4 wheeler.
