About Cabela’s Boise
As the Gem State's first Cabela's, we pulled out all the stops to bring a serious outdoor experience to the northwest. The Boise Cabela's is located in the Franklin Towne Plaza shopping center near the junction of I-184 and I-84. In addition to offering quality outdoor merchandise, the 132,000-sq.-ft. showroom is an educational and entertainment attraction, featuring museum-quality animal displays, huge aquariums, trophy taxidermy and an indoor archery test area.
After exploring our store, get out in town and visit the World Center for Birds of Prey, Idaho's largest sequoia, or hike along the Boise River Greenbelt. Wherever you're headed, our experienced Outfitters are ready and waiting to help you get the most out of your outdoor adventures.
Aquarium & Fish Feeding
Join us every day at 3 pm to catch our fish feeding in our 5,500 gallon tanks. We have 2 exhibits that house cold water species and warm water species with some being native to Idaho.
General Store & Fudge Shop
If shopping makes you work up an appetite, be sure to snag a sweet treat in our Fudge & Nut Shop -- our fudge is made fresh daily! The General Store is a go to place to find special foods including: hot sauces, candies, and different mixes. We also offer a variety of gifts, toys, and home accessories with a lodge feel to complete your trip.
Fly shop
Our fly shop is one of the largest and has a wide variety of beginner’s fly rod/reel combos to help with your next adventure! The Fishing Department will spool your conventional tackle and fly reels for free! If you’re interested in learning more about fly fishing, talk with our fishing outfitters and they will help you get started with all of the proper gear.
Archery Range
Are you looking to get into archery? Our Boise Cabela’s provides a 10-yard working archery range for those testing new bows or sharpening your archery skills and a bow tech shop. For any further questions, call (208) 672-7900 and ask for the Archery Department.
Sawtooth Conference Room
Do you have a club meeting coming up? We have just the spot for you! Our Sawtooth Conference Room is a private meeting area inside our store that can welcome about 50 guests. A large projector screen, white board, tables, chairs, and television are provided. For availability or booking information, contact our Events Specialist at (208) 672-7904.
Pet Friendly
The Boise Cabela’s store is pet friendly! Our staff loves spoiling your furry friends, but please make sure to have them leashed and up to date on vaccinations.
Gun Library
Cabela's Gun Library® is the premier destination for the finest new and used firearms, including modern guns of all types: classic, antique and collectible firearms. To view all of our unique firearms in person, or to purchase, sell, or trade your firearms, stop by our Gun Library department anytime during store hours. While you’re on the Cabela’s Boise store’s website, click on the Gun Library icon to view many of our online firearms. Cabela’s Gun Library purchases pre-owned firearms of most any kind, including rifles, pistols, shotguns, antiques, collectibles & complete collections.
